History of The Hall
This is the only Postgraduate Hall at campus,it was opened in 1972 and was named in recognition of the United Nation Secretary General
Dag Hammalskjold Hjalmar Agne Carl from 1953-1961. Dag Hammarskjold is remembered notably for making the United nations strong in its affairs and helped in establishing its authority to a degree respectable to its member states.
it is a mixed hall and private, managed by the department of Dean of Students.
Students are proud of "Men of distinction like Dag Hammarskjold do die like any other mortal but survive
in what they did as an example to prosperity."
